DANCIN' IN THE STREET World Premiere Cast Set at Mountain Theatre Company

Mountain Theatre Company has announced the full cast and creative team for the world premiere musical, DANCIN' IN THE STREET with book by Scott Daniel and Katie Berger Wood, and music by the artists that moved a generation, arranged by Casey Robert Reed.
Scott Daniel directs this limited-engagement three week run, which begins performances June 24th and runs to July 12th. DANCIN' IN THE STREET plays on the mainstage at the Highlands Performing Arts Center in Highlands, NC. Tickets are now on sale at www.MountainTheatre.com.
Set on a vibrant neighborhood block where every stoop has a story and every streetlight holds a memory, DANCIN' IN THE STREET is a new jukebox musical bursting with the timeless music of Motown, soul, folk, disco, and pop.
As one unforgettable summer block party approaches, three couples find themselves at emotional crossroads. Jack and Stevie struggle to admit the feelings they've hidden for years. Brenda fears her marriage to Eddie may be falling apart just as Eddie secretly plans the surprise of a lifetime. Meanwhile, neighborhood hosts Billy and Rosie work tirelessly to keep the community dancing while quietly facing a life-changing revelation of their own.
Featuring iconic hits including "Boogie Wonderland," "The Sound of Silence," "Both Sides Now," "Disco Inferno," "I Love the Nightlife," "Bridge Over Troubled Water,"and MORE, the show transforms an ordinary city block into a vibrant celebration of love, friendship, family, and the music that connects us all.
And at intermission, the celebration continues as the entire audience is invited onstage for a lively immersive block party complete with onstage bar service, allowing audiences to dance along to hits from ABBA, the Bee Gees, Earth, Wind & Fire, and more. It's theatre like you've never experienced before.
Filled with powerhouse vocals, explosive choreography, and immersive storytelling that blurs the line between audience and performer, DANCIN' IN THE STREET is a heartfelt new musical about the people who become family and the moments that bring us together.

Juluke (AFTER MIDNIGHT, Norwegian Cruise Line) as Billy, Trevor DeVon Neal as Eddie, Megan Littmann as Carmen, Jake Daley as Michael, Grant Domach (PETE THE CAT, National Tour), Adriana Michelle Scheer (CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, Mountain Theatre Company), Jordan Grice as Danny, and Emma Davila as Sheila.
