The public is invited to attend a "Get To Know The Show" program for WOODY SEZ featuring cast members from the show. The program will take place Jan. 28 in the Booth Playhouse. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. with free appetizers and a cash bar.

The "Get To Know The Show" event is free but interested participants must RSVP in advance by contacting the Blumenthal Education Department by phone at 704.348.5784 or via email at eiprograms@ncbpac.org. For more information, please visit BlumenthalCenter.org/workshops.

In addition to performing a few songs from the show, WOODY SEZ Director Nick Corley and cast members David Lutken, Hellen Russell, Darcie Deaville and Andy Teirsein will share behind-the-scenes insights regarding Woody Guthrie's fascinating personal life story as well as his musical and social contributions to American culture.

All participants at the "Get to Know WOODY SEZ" event will receive a coupon to get a discounted ticket to a performance of WOODY SEZ. Offer valid so long as tickets are available.

The Argus Angel Award-winning hit WOODY SEZ - The Words, Music & Spirit of Woody Guthrie, the brainchild of Broadway veteran, storyteller and guitar legend David Lutken, will play three weeks of performances at the Knight Theater February 3 - 21, 2010 at the Booth Playhouse.
