Treehouse Acting Co Announces Theater Camp Opportunities, 7/18 - 24
By: Caryn Robbins Jun. 07, 2011
The Treehouse Acting Company that was founded by Abby Corrigan and Matt Mitchell for young artists interested in all aspects of theatre, is looking for a few more young people to participate in their Theatre Camp/Show Experience the week of July 18-24, 2011. Their company is an official 501C3 non profit theatre company for young people.
The actors are already in rehearsals for their next show, A TREE WITH ARMS by James Saba, but we are looking for young people that would be interested in the backstage technical end of the theatre, such as Set, Lighting, Sound, Costumes, Props and Stage Management.
The way this is structured is that TECH WEEK (which is the week leading up to the shows, July 18-24th) will be like a theatre tech summer camp. We will go from 9am-5pm Monday - Friday and then the kids involved will also attend the shows to work backstage.
