The Sketch Theatre Acting Company Announces Auditions for Upcoming EPIC SKETCH; Audition Call 2/7

The Sketch Theatre Acting Company seeks one additional character actor to join the cast of EPIC SKETCH 2010.

The same group that brought you the hit show Summer Sketch now tackles topics of epic proportions!

What: Think MAD TV or SNL onstage. Our ensemble company will work together to create and perform a weekend of sketch comedy that will be performed at the Duke Energy Theatre of Spirit Square in April 2010.

Who we're looking for: A theatre-trained performer age 18 or older who has strong comedic acting skills. A sketch comedy background is helpful. Writing and/or directing experience is a plus. Artists of all genders and ethnicities are encouraged to audition.

When: Sunday, February 7, 6:00-10:00pm. Appointments are preferred. Walk-ins will be seen if time permits.

Epic Sketch rehearsals will take place on February 23 & 24 and three to four weeknights each week in March. Performances will be on Friday & Saturday, April 9 & 10 at the Duke Energy Theatre of Spirit Square. All actors will receive a stipend of $100 for their participation in this project.
