Story Slam! Arts Center Presents ONE IN THE SPIRIT 2/26-2/27

One In The Spirit returns for CIAA weekend at Story Slam! Arts Center for two shows only - Friday, February 26th and Saturday, February 27th at 7:30pm.

"One In The Spirit" deals with 3 couples who realize after life changing events that they are all closer than they think they are. Marital Issues, Betrayal, Tragedy & Renewal of Faith - This is one play that you do not want to miss!

An actor for 30 years, Brian Daye has appeared in such plays as A Raisin in the Sun, Much Ado About Nothing, All My Sons, One Flew over the Cuckoo‘s Nest and Chocolate On The Outside and has directed Theatre Charlotte's "9×9@9" short play series. He has done television work on the series "Surface" and "America's Most Wanted" and also on The Inspiration Network. Brian has also worked on the films "Bolden", "Gospel Hill", "Blood Done Sign My Name", Tyler Perry's "Why Did I Get Married Too", and "Stomp The Yard 2". ONE IN THE SPIRIT is Brian's first play to write and direct. He is also working on a new play entitled "The Race", which he plans to turn into a screenplay. Brian gives all glory to The Lord without whom none of this would be possible. He is also hugely thankful for the awesome cast assembled for this production, to Marla Brown of The Warehouse, all friends and supporters, to his lovely, talented, supportive and incredible wife, Valerie, and to his awesome son, Jared.
