Shakespeare Carolina Presents MEASURE FOR MEASURE, 4/17-21
Shakespeare Carolina Presents Measure for Measure from April 17-21 at The Duke Energy Theatre.
"Measure for Measure”, a dark comedy that examines justice and mercy in a city saturated with moral decline and government corruption. In “Measure for Measure”, Shakespeare weaves a tale of power, sex, morality and personal demons. Considered a problem play, Shakespeare uses disguise, buffoonery and mercy against overzealous judgment, treachery and lust to bring this complex story to a happy yet ironic ending. Shakespeare Carolina uses the punk/glam scene of late 70's NYC to bring a new slant to this old classic!
Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students and seniors. Tickets are on sale now at www.carolinatix.org.
