Old Courthouse Theatre (located at 49 Spring Street SW - Concord, NC 28025 - 704 788-2405) presents "Snow White and Friends"
OCT's Summer Youth Show will surely delight all ages with this modern version of the beloved fairy tale! The Huntsman fails to bump off the beautiful Princess (but still gets his ticket to Bermuda ), the queen doing the job herself, dresses as an Old Hag, conning Snow White into buying a candy bar as a Girl Scout fund-raiser. At the first bite, the princess falls into a deep slumber but her friends, the seven dwarfs immediately call 911, however they and her other friends are upset when they learn the only antidote is a kiss. Enters the Prince from Aboonistan, at the palace on a peace treaty mission-a specialist in kissing-after a quick spray of breath freshener, is able to awaken the beautiful princess. Lots of fun, this hour-long comedy is pure enchantment.
