Old Courthouse Theatre Holds Additional Auditions for A TUNA CHRISTMAS, 10/11

By: Oct. 07, 2009

Old Courthouse Theatre, in Concord, will hold another night of auditions for A TUNA CHRISTMAS, on Sunday, October 11th from 6-8pm. The cast will feature two men. Those wanting to audition should be prepared to read using different characterizations using cold readings from the script.

In this sequel to Greater Tuna, it's Christmas in the third smallest town in Texas. Radio station OKKK news personalities Thurston Wheelis and Arles Struvie report on various Yuletide activities, including hot competition in the annual lawn display contest. In other news, voracious Joe Bob Lipsey's production of "A Christmas Carol" is jeopardized by unpaid electric bills.

A TUNA CHRISTMAS is written by Ed Howard, Joe Sears, and Jaston Williams and directed by Craig Spradley. Performances will take place December 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12 at 8:00pm and December 6, 13 at 2:30pm.
