Blumenthal Performing Arts to Host 'Pick Your Seat Night' at the Belk Theater, 7/27

It's not too late to save a seat for the upcoming PNC Broadway Lights shows at Belk Theater. On Monday, July 27, Blumenthal Performing Arts will host a special open house -- Pick Your Seat Night -- at Belk Theater for fans who'd like to check out open seats and sightlines in person.

The free event will run from 5:30 - 8 p.m. The first 100 guests will receive a free gift. Everyone will have the chance to enter to win show tickets and other great prizes.

Fans who attend on Monday will also have a chance to get the inside scoop on how the PNC Broadway Lights season is scheduled and other insider Broadway information during a 6:45 p.m. talk back with Blumenthal President Tom Gabbard, followed by a backstage tour of Belk Theater.

The upcoming PNC Broadway Lights season brings Broadway's hottest new shows, including THE SOUND OF MUSIC, MATILDA THE MUSICAL, BEAUTIFUL - THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL. THE WIZARD OF OZ, IF/THEN, FIRST DATE and CABARET.

Only PNC Broadway Lights season tickets will be available for purchase on Monday. However, customers who get season tickets will be able to add additional single ticket seats for the season shows and other Broadway engagements not yet on sale to the public, including WICKED and THE BOOK OF MORMON, to their orders. They also will be able to select specific seats for these shows.

Pick Your Seat Night is an annual event scheduled after all renewing PNC Broadway Lights season ticket buyers have been seated, as well as new buyers who ordered early. All remaining seats will be available for purchase during the Open House. Season ticket seats for the seven-show PNC Broadway Lights season are available at all price levels -- from VIP locations to other seats that can be had for less than $30 a month with Blumenthal's extended payment plan.

Pick Your Seat Night guests will find many of the open seats marked inside the theater, allowing them to easily explore a variety of sightlines. Ticketing staff will be on hand to answer questions and help customers select from all the available options. Fans who purchase season tickets during the evening will receive free parking for the seven shows on the PNC Broadway Lights season, along with a free $25 Shows and More Gift Voucher that can be used for future ticket purchases.

Buyers at Pick Your Seat Night can select from a full seven or eight-show season ticket, which guarantees a renewable seat for next year, the same seat for all the shows in this year's PNC Broadway Lights season, and other exclusive season ticket buyer benefits.

Season tickets buyers can choose extended payments and pay in equal monthly installments now through March 2016. They can also swap two season shows for anything else coming next year, including Wicked or The Book of Mormon.
