New Ballet presents Sleeping Beauty in an expanded partnership with Symphony San Jose, performed to Tchaikovsky's score with conductor Thomas Shoebotham leading the orchestra. The production tells the story of the triumph of good over evil and marks the first time New Ballet's spring story ballet is presented with live orchestral accompaniment at the California Theatre. Also presented is My Very First Ballet: Sleeping Beauty, a shortened performance for younger audiences.
