This annual scholarship fundraiser is a thrilling musical celebration of the holiday season. Featuring 200 performers-- students and faculty, Millersville University's diverse Music Department will come together to celebrate the 10th anniversary of 'Glorious Sounds of the Season', commemorating this event with a commissioned original work by Dr. Kenneth Lampl and spectacularly performed with the university's innovative surround sound presentation.

Pennsylvania native composer-arranger-saxophonist Jonathan Ragonese, earned a Masters in composition at the Manhattan School of Music. He'll be playing holiday favorites including Little Drummer Boy, We Three Kings and I'll Be Home for Christmas. Steve Rudolph, piano, Peter Paulsen, bass and Larry Marshall, drums. In collaboration with LancasterHistory.Org, the Ware Center will honor the 75th anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor - a moment in time that represented loss, strength, bravery, and perseverance. Through the contribution of LancasterHistory.org, archives of letters and photos of Lancastrians serving in and affected by the war will be presented. Musical performances by the King Street Big Band and, from the National WW II Museum, the charming vocal trio The Victory Belles.

Now in its 11th season, the hugely popular Irish Christmas in America show features prominent Irish music, instruments and dance steeped in the rich history of Irish culture. A member of the Grammy Awards, Barber will be bringing his talents to the Ware Center this holiday season--performing his holiday program of classics 'Christmas Presence'. This classical performance will feature holiday favorites such as "Ave Maria", "O Holy Night" and "Joy to the World".
