The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged)

Additional performance added on August 19th!

Glimmer Globe Theatre is thrilled to present The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) by Adam Long, Daniel Singer & Jess Winfield, premiering at Fenimore Art Museum this July and August!

This relentless farce combines all 37 of the bards plays (and sonnets!) into 100 minutes! Three madcap actors in tights weave their wicked way through every comedy, history, and tragedy in one wild ride that will leave you breathless with laughter. An irreverent, fast-paced romp through the Bard's career, “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged)” was London's longest-running comedy. Our new production will star Michael Henrici, Danielle Henrici, and Jason Francey!

[NOTE: As this production features some crude humor, parental discretion is advised. Think of it as a light PG-13!].

Given the recently updated NYS COVID Safety guidelines, we are excited to announce that we will be moving our performances back to the Lucy B. Hamilton Amphitheater! The benches, turf, and hills will open for seating as usual. Plus limited spaces for socially distanced seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Masks will not be required for fully vaccinated individuals! Visitors are also welcome to bring blankets and chairs to sit on during the performance!

Performance details and protocols will be sent in an email to ticket-holders prior too your arrival. Current masking policies can be found at FenimoreArt.org/Safety.

“Shakespeare Abridged” was the show that launched Glimmer Globe Theatre nearly a decade ago, and it means the world to us to return to this play at such a hopeful and challenging time for theatre companies worldwide.

If you have any questions, please reach out to us at m.tamburrino@fenimoreart.org or call us at (607) 547-1453.
