ALEX TEMPLE WARD’S SECOND ACT JANUARY 12, 2026 at 7 PM AT THE GREEN ROOM 42 The Green Room 42 presents Alex Temple Ward in his New York City cabaret debut, Second Act, on January 12, 2026 at 7PM. Ward takes audiences on a journey through his world with songs and stories that support his belief that everyone is living in either an “act” or an “intermission.” Second Act features reimagined pop hits, classics from the Great American Songbook, and original songs by some of today’s finest NYC songwriters. Through the show, Ward reflects on his life so far—the loves, the losses, and the most intimidating thing he’s ever done: calling places to find the starting point of his second act. Produced by Katy Wolfe and Brendan Stackhouse, Second Act features compositions by Selda Sahin and Derek Gregor, with arrangements by Eric Sorrels and Alex Gno. The show is music directed by Ethan Smith-Cohen on keys, with Meg Toohey on guitar, Dan Berkery on drums, and Mark Verdino on bass. Ward will also be joined onstage by guest singers Monet Sabel, Sebastian Sowell, and Christian Clausnitzer. Alex Temple Ward’s Second Act plays at The Green Room 42 on January 12, 2026 at 7PM. Tickets are available starting at $19, with no food or beverage minimum. Tickets and more information are available at thegreenroom42.venuetix.com/showdetails/lpM4OYiNcmEHi7U0klzn/ju6upQY8K0KXAiSZTivE. ALEX TEMPLE WARD, originally from East Tennessee, has performed at distinguished regional houses including Ogunquit Playhouse, The REV Theatre Company, Kansas City Starlight, and Clarence Brown Theatre. In New York City, he’s performed in popular venues like 54 Below and The GreenRoom 42, and as a soloist, he’s sung with the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra. Alex was in the original cast of Disney’s Frozen on Disney Cruise Lines and has contributed to many workshops and readings of original works. He is currently a producer for The Janice Jam, a fundraising organization for metastatic breast cancer research. Alex studied at the University of Tennessee College of Music and Circle in the Square Theatre School, and he is represented by The Luedtke Agency. THE GREEN ROOM 42 opened in 2017 and has since become one of New York City’s most celebrated destinations for live performance, dining, and special events.
