SPILLED MILK By Khalif Gillett Receives World Premiere

Directed by Khalif J. Gillett and Sarah Green, Spilled Milk by Khalif Gillett receives a world premiere as part of the New York Theatre Festival's Winterfest 2020 at the Hudson Guild Theatre.

Spilled Milk is a six person, ensemble-based dramedy/choreopoem that follows Bobbie, a young black poet, who tries to write his post suicide into an epic and beautiful work; but ultimately becomes burdened by the task of treating his real life friends as characters to be played with, when reality begins to bleed into the poetry.

The cast includes Hana Bookman, Shelby Coleman, Antonio Davis, Natasha Diaz, Kassime Fofana and Jude Kilumbu. The creative team includes a lighting design by Gabe Rodriguez and sound and composition by Zack Pierson.

Spilled Milk's world premiere receives three performances: 2/11 @6:15pm, 2/14 @4pm and 2/15 @9pm.
