SOLSTICE: A NEW MUSICAL Principal Cast Revealed for World Premiere Production
Aidan Wright and Josh Willis lead the cast at the Charles R. Wood Theater in Glens Falls.
The first official look at the principal cast of Solstice: A New Musical has been released ahead of the show's world premiere developmental production at the Charles R. Wood Theater in Glens Falls this month.
Written by local composer Ben Rowley and directed by Brittany Martel, Solstice follows two brothers navigating grief, healing, and self-discovery in the year following their mother's passing. After debuting as a sold-out staged reading in 2023, the new musical now makes the leap to a fully staged mainstage production.
Leading the production are Aidan Wright as Ray and Josh Willis as James, two brothers at the center of the story supported by their girlfriends portrayed by Stephanie Willis as Aslin and Courtnie Harrington as Kayla. The group searches for hope and connection in the wake of the loss of the boy's mother, Jackie.
The cast is supported by Katie Agresta as Jackie, Trent Sano as Jim, Zach Kaiser as Henry, and Gabriella Seebode as Shannon. Also featured in the production are Allison Schmitt as Effie and Kevin Trapasso as Derek.
The ensemble is completed by Anthony Jones, Meghan DiMeglio, Amelia Murray, Delaney Sano, Adam Spero, and Lia Cardone.
Solstice will play May 22-23, 2026 at the Charles R. Wood Theater. The production features a cast and creative team made up of performers and artists from across the Glens Falls region.
