Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival Launches THE PITCH

The Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival is seeking submissions from composers and playwrights who would like to be considered for inclusion in the first edition of THE PITCH in 2012.
THE PITCH is an innovative approach which seeks to add a new and important step in the development process for new musicals. It is designed to give creative teams valuable audience and peer feedback during live presentations at a much earlier stage of the creative process. THE PITCH will also provide time for creative teams to focus exclusively on the work at hand in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Twenty projects in all will be selected for presentation over the course of a ten-week season. The season will run from June 14th to August 18th. Those chosen to participate will receive travel expenses and accommodations for their one-week residency.
