BAD CONNECTIONS? Hits Rochester's Downstairs Cabaret Theatre Straight From Toronto Film Festival, Through 8/5

By:

BAD CONNECTIONS?, written by Michael Levesque, directed by Thom Fogarty, and performed by Paul Cosentino, will be on stage at Downstairs Cabaret (DCT) at 20 Windsor Street for three weeks only July 20 - August 5, 2012. This tour-de-force solo performance comes to DCT directly from the Toronto Fringe Festival, and has been critically acclaimed across the United States and Canada.

A hit at the Hollywood, Edmonton, Orlando, and Toronto Fringe Festivals, Paul Cosentino's performance has been called "truly mesmerizing," and the show has been hailed "hilarious, heartfelt and unforgettable." Cosentino masterfully portrays a diverse assortment of nine New York characters including a guru; a sassy pregnant black woman; a wise-guy Italian shopkeeper wrestling with his dying grandfather; a young boy innocent to the turmoil overtaking his family; a doctor who can seemingly help others but not himself and his Jewish wife who yearns for some attention; and a gay yoga instructor trying hard to keep his life together. All live separate lives yet they are connected through their actions and the forces of fate.

This must-see theatrical gem will be on stage:

Friday, July 20 at 8PM; Saturday, July 21 at 8PM;

Friday, July 27 at 8PM; Saturday, July 28 at 8PM; Sunday, July 29 at 3PM;

Thursday, August 2 at 7PM; Friday, August 3 at 8PM; Saturday, August 4 at 8PM; and Sunday, August 5 at 3PM.
