Story And Crafts Events Announced At Fort Caspar Museum

Join us for Fort Caspar Museum's monthly Fremont Story & Craft Hour on Saturday, March 10th from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. First we will read a children's book aloud, then participants may make an art project inspired by the story.

This month's book is "C is for Cowboy: A Wyoming Alphabet" by Eugene Gagliano. Explore the wonders, history, and landscapes of Wyoming in this alphabet journey that begins with "A is for Altitude of mountains that soar; the Grand Tetons rise straight up from the floor." Also, participants may visit the Museum's current exhibit of historic postcards, "Howdy! From Big, Wonderful Wyoming" for more inspiration.

After listening to the story and viewing the exhibit, children will design and color their own Wyoming state postage stamp or postcard.

This program begins at 1:00 pm; no reservations are required and all art supplies will be provided. The workshop is open to all ages and is free with Museum admission. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

For more information, call the Museum at 307-235-8462, or visit our website at http://www.fortcasparwyoming.com. Fort Caspar Museum is located at 4001 Fort Caspar Road.
