Join us for Fort Caspar Museum's monthly Fremont's Story & Craft Hour on Saturday, June 9th at 1:00 pm. First we will read a children's book aloud, then participants may make an art project inspired by the story.

This month's book is "Papa and the Pioneer Quilt" by Jean Van Leeuwen. The description reads: "Rebecca's papa has wandering feet. He is following his dream and taking the family west on the Oregon Trail-across prairies, rivers, and mountains. Along the way, Rebecca begins collecting pieces of cloth to make a quilt for their new home." After listening to the story, participants will be able design and create their own small paper quilt.

This workshop is open to all ages and no reservations are necessary. It is free with Museum admission, which is free for kids 12 years and under, $4 for adults, and $3 for seniors and teens. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

For more information, call the Museum at 307-235-8462, or visit our website at http://www.fortcasparwyoming.com. Fort Caspar Museum is located at 4001 Fort Caspar Road.
