About this camp
Wyonegonic Camps is a traditional residential summer camp for girls ages 8 to 16 in Denmark, Maine, established in 1902 and operated by the same family for five generations. The camp sits on roughly 700 acres of pine forest with about two miles of shoreline on Moose Pond, and is organized into separate units so campers live in small, close-knit cabin groups. Activities include aquatics, canoeing and wilderness tripping, outdoor living skills, horseback riding, challenge courses, land sports and creative arts, all in a non-competitive setting. The 2026 season runs June 27 to August 9, offered as a full season or two three-week sessions, with a family camp and leadership training program also available. Wyonegonic is accredited by the American Camp Association and is affiliated with Winona Camps.
