VTC Kids Day Camp

VTC Kids Day Camp is a four-week summer day camp for young actors ages 8 to 13, run by Vanguard Theater Company at its Montclair, New Jersey theater at 180 Bloomfield Avenue. Camp meets Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and tuition is $1,600. Through basic musical theater technique, campers bring characters, stories, and emotions to life while building focus, imagination, and teamwork. The program emphasizes creative confidence, collaboration, and structured play, and is grounded in Vanguard's DREAM values of Diversity, Reciprocity, Education, Activism, and Mentorship. Instruction is led by experienced theater professionals in a supportive environment. The camp culminates in a summer production; the 2026 show is Peter Pan Jr., adapted for young performers from the Broadway musical.

Held at VTC Theater, 180 Bloomfield Avenue, 2nd floor (stairs required). The 2026 summer production is Peter Pan Jr.
