Theatre at St. Michael's

Theatre at St. Michael's (TASM) is the summer theatre camp of St. Michael's Country Day School, an independent day school at 180 Rhode Island Avenue in Newport, Rhode Island. The camp brings young performing artists together with professional theatre staff on the school's seven-acre campus, which includes a state-of-the-art theatre and an in-ground pool used for daily swim time. The 2026 season offers an Original Musical Production session and a Shakespeare session staging The Merry Wives of Windsor, both open to campers ages 9 to 17, plus the Tech Monkeys backstage program for students who prefer technical theatre and a Musical Production Intern Intensive. Each session is led and directed by theatre professionals and ends in a public performance. The camp marked its 25th anniversary with a gala.
