Summer Stars Day Camp-Raritan Bay Area YMCA

Summer Stars Day Camp is the general day camp of the Raritan Bay Area YMCA in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, serving children ages 3 to 12. The 2026 season runs June 29 through August 21, with a regular camp day of 8:30am to 4:00pm and optional before care from 7:30am and after care until 6:00pm for additional weekly fees. Preschool campers are based at the Ignacio Cruz Early Childhood Center on Cortland Street and school-age campers at the Rose M. Lopez School on Seaman Street. Weekly rates are $180 for preschool members and $170 for school-age members, with higher community-member rates, plus a $30 registration fee; 15% sibling savings, financial assistance and third-party subsidies are available. The Y also operates Enrichment Camp, Inclusive Camp, Middle School Camp and a Junior Counselor in Training program, and states that cost should never prevent a family from participating.

Regular day 8:30am-4:00pm; before care 7:30-8:30am (+$20/week) and after care 4:00-6:00pm (+$30/week), combo +$40/week. Preschool campers meet at Ignacio Cruz E.C.C., 601 Cortland Street; school-age campers at Rose M. Lopez School, 435 Seaman Street, Perth Amboy. Weekly fee is $180 members / $200 community members for preschool and $170 / $190 for school age. 15% sibling savings, financial assistance and third-party subsidy accepted.
