Strand Academy: Musical Theatre Boot Camp 2026

Musical Theatre Boot Camp is a one-week summer camp run by Strand Academy, the education arm of the Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre in downtown Marietta, Georgia. The 2026 session runs July 20-24, 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM daily, for rising 6th through rising 12th graders. Campers work with instructors on musical theatre acting, vocal, and dance technique, learn professional audition strategies, and develop performance habits, closing the week with a showcase for family and friends on Friday, July 24. Students arrive on day one with a one-minute musical theatre song and wear clothing suitable for movement. Tuition is $180, with an early bird rate of $140; tuition assistance is available. Strand Academy also offers other summer camps, a pre-professional summer production, the Spotlight Players after-school program, master classes, and private lessons.
