Star Camp, a Sci-Fi Acting Camp

Metropolitan Performing Arts (MPA) is a nonprofit theatre education and community theatre organization serving southwest Washington, now operating from a new home at 1014 Main Street in Vancouver. MPA offers training for children and adults in acting, dancing, singing and theatre tech, and presents productions featuring talent from the Vancouver metro area. Its 2026 summer camp lineup included half-day Wizard Acting Camps and a Gods & Monsters & Myths Acting Camp for ages 7-12 at $190 per week (9am-noon or 1-4pm), a Minis Wizard Camp for ages 3-6 at $150, a Wizard Magic School LARP for ages 11-18 at $549, a two-week Musical Theater Intensive for ages 11-14 at $600, and a three-week Musical Theater Intensive for ages 12-18 at $1,099. Star Camp, the sci-fi acting camp previously offered over spring break, is not in the current lineup. Need-based Julian Wehde scholarships are available.
