Shetek Lutheran Ministries

Shetek Lutheran Ministries is a year-round Christian camp with Lutheran expression, established in 1947 on Keeley Island in Lake Shetek near Slayton, Minnesota. Summer programming ranges from single-day camps to week-long on-site and off-site adventures, organized by grade level: ABC Camp, Mini Camp, 4-6 Grade Camp, 7-9 Grade Camp, Confirmation Camp, Explorer Camp, Counselor In Training, and a Flambeau River canoe trip for entering 10th-12th graders. Cross-generational options include Family Camp, Grandparent/Grandchild Camp, SOS Camp and Agape. Campers take part in worship, swimming, songs, arts and crafts, canoeing and fishing. Beyond summer, Shetek hosts retreats, conferences, weddings and family events, and runs an environmental education program. A capital campaign and master plan are underway, including construction of a new cabin.
