NEMPAC Musical Theatre Workshops

The North End Music & Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC), a community music school founded in 2001, runs week-long Musical Theatre Workshops for students ages 5 to 9 as part of its summer program. After being cast in a short production, participants rotate between singing lessons, dance choreography, scene staging and theatre games, culminating in a performance for family and friends at the end of the week. Sessions run 9am to 4pm Monday through Thursday and 9am to 1pm Friday at Charlestown Working Theater. Summer 2026 offered five themed weeks between July 6 and August 3: High School Musical 2, The Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo, James and the Giant Peach, and SpongeBob SquarePants. Tuition assistance is available by application.
