About this camp
Broadway Bootcamp JR is a week-long NEMPAC summer program for tweens ages 10 to 14. For 2026 the session ran August 10 to 14 with a theme drawn from fantasy, folklore, myth and magic. Students learn, rehearse and perform selections of songs, dances and scenes from shows such as Wicked, Beetlejuice and Descendants. Through character-driven work and ensemble collaboration, participants explore heroic journeys and mythical worlds while building singing, dancing and acting skills. The week runs 9am to 4pm Monday through Thursday and 9am to 1pm Friday, and culminates in a final showcase for family and friends. NEMPAC offers tuition assistance for summer programs through an application process.
