Montclair YMCA Day Camp

The YMCA of Montclair, founded in 1891, runs a set of summer day camps for children from about age 3 through 16 across its Park Street and Geyer Family branches and its Outdoor Education Center. Programs include New Adventures for ages 3-7, New Discoveries for ages 3.5-10, Camp at the Lake for ages 5-14, and specialty tracks at the lake covering outdoor education (Nature Navigators), sports (Sports Stars) and a junior lifeguard program, plus Youth Basketball All-Stars and an Explorers camp for older children and a Counselor-in-Training program for teens aged 15-16. Sessions run from late June through late August, with ten registration sessions and staged payment drafts. A Y membership is required to register, a 10% sibling discount is available, and financial assistance is offered.

Ten sessions with staged payment drafts (sessions 1-3 May 1, sessions 4-6 June 1, sessions 7-10 July 1). All campers must hold a Y membership prior to February 10. A 10% sibling discount applies to the child with the lowest tuition. Friend requests are not accepted. Financial assistance available.
