Luna Stage Summer Stage Works

Luna Stage is a socially engaged, community-based regional theatre in West Orange, New Jersey's Valley Arts District that develops and produces plays about local and global experiences. Its Kids Summer Theatre Camp invites children in grades 2-5 to create a play in a week, exploring improvisation, acting, theatre games, collaborative storytelling and playwriting to build an original performance. Each week carries a different theme, so campers can enroll for a single week or several across the July and August schedule, and sessions run weekday mornings from 9am to noon. Camp counselors are professional theatre artists, with a lead teacher and assistant for each section. To support equity and access, all Luna camps and classes are pay-what-you-choose. The theatre also runs a Summer Teen Conservatory and year-round classes for youth, teens and adults.
