Camp Waziyatah

Camp Waziyatah is a traditional coed overnight summer camp in Waterford, Maine, founded in 1922 and set on 130 acres of woods and fields bordering a 3.5-mile private lake. It serves campers ages 6 to 16 in 2-, 4-, 6- and 8-week sessions. Its Kid's Choice Program lets campers select their own activities, which include athletics, waterfront sports, riding, performing arts, visual arts, an adventure park with a rock tower, Adventure Bound trips and off-camp excursions. The camp is technology-free, offers specialty dining for dietary restrictions, and runs teen leadership programs for ages 16 and 17. Wazi was the setting for Disney's Bug Juice series. It is accredited by the American Camp Association and also hosts facility rentals and weddings.

$1,000 non-refundable deposit secures a place; balance in equal monthly payments. Tuition includes room and board, instruction, arts materials, standard Adventure Bound day trips, routine medical care and laundry. Additional $350 ($375 for 6- or 8-week campers) covers camp store credit and trip surcharge. Returning families receive $500 off for Early Bird signup before Sept 15. Military and educator discounts offered.
