Camp Arena Stage

Camp Arena Stage is a full-day, multi-arts summer day camp for young people ages 8-15, run by Arena Stage and hosted on the grounds of Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School in Washington, DC. Campers build their own schedules from a long list of classes spanning theater, dance, music, visual art, filmmaking and writing; past offerings have included improvisation, a cappella, hip-hop dance, musical theater, drawing and painting, rock band and stop-motion animation. A Noontime Show runs every day so campers can perform for one another, and the three-week session culminates in an evening Arts Extravaganza. Performing on stage is not required, and the camp positions itself as a place for all kinds of young artists. Scholarships are available, and the camp is supported by Friends of Southwest DC. Both 2026 sessions reached capacity.
