Belvoir Terrace is a residential summer arts camp for girls in grades 2 through 10, operating in Lenox, Massachusetts since 1954. The program is entirely elective: each camper builds her own schedule from professional instruction in visual art, dance, music, theater and individual sports, with classes grouped by interest, experience, skill and age. Twenty-two private studios house music instruction in voice and all instruments, and campers perform in dance shows, theater productions, recitals and art openings. Sports include swimming, tennis, horseback riding, archery, basketball, soccer and volleyball, with an outdoor education program for younger campers. Traditional camp traditions such as campfires, carnival, bunk skits, cookouts and socials round out the summer, along with supervised trips to Berkshire cultural venues.
Campers are in grades 2-10. Visiting Day 2026 was Sunday, July 19. A 4-day/4-night Belvoir Family Camp runs August 12-16. Winter office phone: 212-580-3398.
