Beaver Summer Programs Off- Broadway

Beaver Off-Broadway is a two-week specialty arts camp within Beaver Summer Camp, the day camp run by Beaver Country Day School in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. It is designed for children entering grades 4 through 7 and focuses on producing a musical from start to finish. Campers develop acting skills through improv exercises, character studies and role-playing, and also design costumes, build sets and learn theatrical makeup. Each session centers on a different musical and closes with a final performance for families and friends. A typical day runs 8:30am to 4:00pm and includes warm-ups, music rehearsal, drama, creative design and dance blocks, staging and technical set-up, lunch and outdoor play, and afternoon free swim. Extended-day options and bus transportation are available for an additional fee.
