Venus of Dance: The Story of Burlesque Legend Dee Milo
Premiering August 23rd, 10pm at the historic Coney Island USA Sideshow
Theatre-1208 Surf Ave. Brooklyn NY 11224. As part of the annual Burlesque at
the Beach series. And starring award winning burlesque, sideshow and aerial
artists; Tansy, Dirty Martini, Elizabeth Munn, Sage Sovereign, Tiny D and Ginger Twist.
Follow Burlesque Legend Dee Milo from her early stages, performing alongside
Jennie Lee, to her journey home and her relationship with her mother and the fight
within herself to justify her art form and way of life.
Dee Milo is a living legend who still performs today and is an active member
of the Burlesque Hall of Fame, in Las Vegas. We are honored to have her as the
inspiration for this theatrical event.
