Slant Theater Project presents its annuAl Halloween blowout, Boo!zer 10 at The Tank on Wednesday, October 27, 2010; 9:30 pm. Tickets are $10 ($8 if wearing a costume).

Carson Elrod will host a cabaret evening with music by P.K. Pickens and others, comedy by David Lee Nelson, performances by special guests, a haunted house, drinks, and more. The ghost of Slant's co-founder Gretchen (who died at BOO!zer 4) may also make a special appearance. BOO!zer 10 is part of GroundWorks, a monthly forum at the Tank curated by Slant Theatre Project, dedicated to getting new projects off the ground. Each GroundWorks presentation is tailored to the project and the artists involved in an effort to support new work in the Early Stages of its development.

Slant Theatre Project is a core group of artists that thrive on the danger of building the plane in flight. We do visceral work. We put things up quickly and rely on instincts. We tailor each process to the artists and performance space, and are excited about creating environments that challenge the traditional notions of what theatre is."
