Cabaret and recording star Marilyn Maye appeared at Jim Caruso's "Cast Party" at Birdland Monday, September 10 to kick-start her two-week engagement at the Metropolitan Room.

Marilyn Maye presents "Maye Sings Ray...And More!" at The Metropolitan Room September 12 - 15 & 19 - 22 at 7:30PM, plus September 16 & 23 at 7PM & 9:30PM; and September 17 at 9:30PM. Maye sang 75 times on Johnny Carson's late-night show – more than any other performer. Carson called her a "super singer," and Doc Severinsen said she was his "favorite girl singer." Tickets are $30.

Her recording of "Too Late Now" was chosen by the Smithsonian Collection of recordings as one of the 110 best songs and recordings of the first six decades of the 20th Century, has recorded seven albums and 34 singles.
