Critically acclaimed six-time MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs) and the 2008 Nightlife Award Winner, Natalie Douglas will make her 9th appearance as part of Jim Caruso's Broadway at Birdland series with an all new show, Café Society. Douglas 'performance will be a celebration of the songs of the '30s & '40s and pay homage to the legendary New York City nightclub that bore the name, Café Society nearly seventy years after its doors opened to the Greenwich Village basement. Douglas, with her longtime musical director and arranger – Avenue Q's Mark Hartman - and her band of Broadway All-Stars, will recreate the era, the atmosphere and the music in a not-to-be-missed evening of Cole, Lena, Duke and Ella.Award winning Vocalist, Natalie Douglas, brings years of experience to the stage. Douglas has received the 1998 and 2001, 2003, 2004 and 2005 MAC Awards for Outstanding Jazz Vocalist and was nominated for ten straight years.
