Flaherty & Roberts Perform at Grand Piano Marathon 1/21, Free to Public

Jimmy Roberts, the composer of Off-Broadway's smash hit musical I Love You You're Perfect now Change, will perform at the Grand Piano Marathon at Merkin Concert Hall this Monday, January 21 from 2PM - 8PM.  Jimmy Roberts is scheduled to play at 5:20PM.

Broadway composer Stephen Flaherty will also appear, presenting his set at 2:20PM this Monday, January 21st, and will include solo piano selections from some of his various award-winning scores including Ragtime, The Glorious Ones and Anastasia the film.

 

With free admission to the public, the Grand Piano Marathon is a six-hour journey through the varied landscape of piano music, featuring 12 masterful and inventive pianists from the worlds of classical, contemporary, jazz and popular music.

In addition, the mega-concert will feature Lee Musiker, Michael Reisman, Ursula Oppens, John Medeski, Orli Shaham, Vijay Iyer, Jonathan Batiste, Lisa Moore, Anat Fort, and Igal Kesselman.
