"The Real Tale Behind The Fairy Tale is a flavorful One Woman Show, written in complete spoken word and music; and puts a new, modern-day spin on the classic fairy tales we know and love from our childhood.  Featuring nine different female characters, this tale no longer speaks of "happily ever after" but rather the true side of their stories.  They are grown-up, liberated women who finally have been given the chance to speak out.  And what they have to say is shocking!  No children to entertain, no men to please, no rating system to filter their words.  No expectations... just the unadulterated truth," describe press notes.

Erin Jividen (also known as EJ) has been writing and performing music for more that 8 years.  She has a bachelor of arts degree from Hunter College where she majored in Theater and Music. During this time, EJ began performing all over NYC and even traveled down to Miami, Richmond and Philadelphia with a group of budding young artists.  She was a regular in the New York music scene and was often spotted performing at the most famous venues including:  The Bitterend, Webster Hall, The Living Room and The Elbow Room.  She recorded her first solo record "Another Insufficient Fare" in a tiny studio in upstate New York. This was followed by "Mermaid Songs" recorded with Michael Blum and her latest CD "Stuck in Traffic." She wrote her first full length rock musical, Skye Is Falling.
