Chelsea Handler Brings High and Mighty Tour to Genesee Theatre
The comedian's stand-up show will stop at the Waukegan, Illinois venue on her upcoming tour.
Chelsea Handler has announced a new stand-up tour, THE HIGH AND MIGHTY TOUR, which will include a stop at Genesee Theatre on Thursday, October 8.
In a statement, Handler said, “I'm excited to get out on the road and provide laughter and joyfulness to everyone out there who needs an extra dose of it right now. It's my duty as a comedian to light things up, so I'll be highly and mightily doing just that. Laughter is medicine, and I'm your doctor.”
Presale tickets will be available beginning Wednesday, May 13 at 10:00 a.m. local time using the code CHELSEA. General ticket sales begin Friday, May 15 at 10:00 a.m. local time through Ticketmaster and Handler’s official website.
Handler is a comedian, television host, and seven-time New York Times bestselling author. She previously hosted the late-night series Chelsea Lately on E! before launching the Netflix series Chelsea Does and Chelsea. Her most recent book, I’ll Have What She’s Having, was published in February 2025.
Following her 2020 HBO Max special Evolution, Handler received a Grammy nomination for Best Comedy Album. She also hosts the iHeartRadio podcast Dear Chelsea. Her latest Netflix comedy special, The Feeling, premiered in March 2025.
Handler recently completed her European stand-up tour An Abroad Broad and continues her Las Vegas residency, Chelsea at The Chelsea, at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, where she became the venue’s first female comedian with a residency.
