Bean to Perform at Joe's Pub; Tix Available for 7/29

On Sunday, July 29 and Monday, July 30, Wicked star Shoshana Bean will perform at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette St.).  While tickets for the 30th are sold out, lmited tickets are available for the show on the 29th.

Press notes state: "Shoshana Bean may be best known for her run as the famed green witch, Elphaba, in the Broadway and touring companies of the hit musical, Wicked. Having also appeared in the original cast of Hairspray and the Off-Broadway revival of Godspell (cast recording), she is now working on her debut solo album. Shoshana performed her rendition of 'Ain't No Way' alongside Brian McKnight honoring Aretha Fraklin at the 'Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards.' She also made solo appearances on 'Soul Train's Christmas Starfest' and on 'Martha.' Her forthcoming album will feature all original songs in her signature soulful-pop style.

The shows are at 7:30pm.  Tickets are $25 (again, July 30th is sold out).
