On tonight's episode of ABC's THE MIDDLE titled "The Hose," Brooke Sheilds (Broadway's The Addam’s Family) guest stars as trashy neighbor Rita Glossner who is about to rain fire upon the Heck household when she accuses Frankie of stealing her hose. Meanwhile, Sue takes a peek at Mike's paycheck and is so shocked at how little he makes that she decides to call off her first official road trip to Cincinnati for her school mascot duties in order to save money; and while Brick learns about the birds and bees in school, Axl shocks his little brother by explaining the whole process in graphic detail. The episode airs tonight, WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 17 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. Get a sneak peek below!

"The Middle" stars Patricia Heaton as Frankie, Neil Flynn as Mike, Charlie McDermott as Axl, Eden Sher as Sue and Atticus Shaffer as Brick.

Guest starring are Brooke Shields as Rita Glossner, BROCK CIARLELLI as Brad Bottig, BLAINE SAUNDERS as Carly, Malcolm Foster Smith as Dave, Troy Metcalf as Jim, David R. Chandler as Derrick Glossner, Parker James Bolek as Wade Glossner, Gibson Bobby Sjobeck as diaper Glossner, Trevor J. Davis as accountant and Jocelyn Christensen as school nurse.
