Writers Guild of America, East Announces 2014 Council Election Results

The Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) today announced the results of its 2014 Council election.

This year, there were 10 open seats: seven Freelance seats and three Staff seats. Freelance members work in screen, television and digital media, and Staff members work in television and radio news shops under the Guild's jurisdiction.

The results were:

· Elected as Freelance members on the Council: John Auerbach (i), Walter Bernstein (i), Kyle Bradstreet, Terry George (i), Chris Kyle, Jenny Lumet (i), Beau Willimon

· Elected as Staff members on the Council: Gail Lee, Kathy McGee, Cath Twohill

All terms begin immediately and run through September 2016. There were no elections for WGAE Officers this year.
