VIDEO: Watch WHEEL OF FORTUNE Contestant Break All-Time Earnings Record!

A new record was broken on the December 26th episode of 'Wheel of Fortune,' as contestant Matt DeSanto not only solved an early puzzle on the nightly game show after seeing only one letter, he also wound up solving every single puzzle during the remainder of the game! By the end of the show, the Malvern, PA native earned a whopping $91,892, a new record for the show, now in its 39th season. 

"The wheel definitely worked in my favor," DeSanto told Today.com. "I was extremely fortunate."

The father of two shared that  he'd been watching the 'wheel' since he was  5 years old, but that he did not prepare for his appearance on the Pat Sajak-hosted program. Joked DeSanto, "Maybe some extra crossword puzzles. I tried not to overthink it too much."
