VIDEO: TODAY Announces Regis Philbin Will Join Fourth Hour as Contributor!

Regis Philbin is joining NBC's TODAY as a contributor to the fourth hour with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. Gifford and Kotb made the announcement this morning with Philbin making a special appearance. Check it out below!

"Regis brings his legendary charm and humor each time he visits TODAY," said Tammy Filler, Co-EP of TODAY. "His energy is infectious, and when Regis is around, you never know what will happen."

Philbin and Gifford hosted "Live! With Regis and Kathie Lee" for 15 years from 1985 to 2000. Philbin has made multiple appearances on TODAY in recent months including his starring role in TODAY the Musical: http://www.today.com/video/today/56690576.

Philbin served as host of "Live!" for nearly three Decades and received 24 Daytime Emmy nominations, with six wins and a Lifetime Achievement Award. Throughout his storied career, Philbin has written several books including two memoirs, broke the Guinness World Record for Most Hours on Camera, and hosted "Who Wants to be a Millionaire," one of the highest rated primetime game shows in history.
