In a sketch on last night's Saturday Night Live, Jessica Chastain portrayed game show host Veronica Elder on the fictional game show "What Even Matters Anymore?" On the show, "Veronica" told contestants (played by SNL cast members Cecily Strong, Kate McKinnon, and Kenan Thompson) things that President Trump has said or done, and then proceeded to ask "does it even matter anymore?"

They begin with seemingly horrible scenarios that have actually happened, which ironically enough we're told do not matter, and then continue to get more outlandish with hypothetical scenarios that Trump could do which, still, would not matter.

By the end of the sketch, McKinnon tells Chastain, not her fictional character Veronica, "Jessica, you don't have to do this." Chastain replies, "I'm sorry guys, it just seems like nothing matters anymore." The sketch concludes with a group hug.
