VIDEO: Dan Aykroyd Reveals New GHOSTBUSTERS Film Gearing Up for Early 2015 Start!

"Ghostbusters" actor Dan Aykroyd stopped by this morning's TODAY and revealed that the third installment of the classic franchise is gearing up for an early 2015 start.

"It looks like we'll be in pre-production in the spring now, from what I'm hearing," he told Carson Daly during his visit. "It should be good." Check out the appearance below!

The original Ghostbusters was released in the United States on June 8, 1984. It was a critical and commercial success, receiving a positive response from critics and audiences and grossing US$238 million in the United States and more than $291 million worldwide. It was nominated for two Oscars at the 57th Academy Awards for Best Visual Effects and Best Original Song.
