Charlie Sheen stopped by last night's TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LEON on NBC to talk about the recent exit of his 'Anger Management' co star Selma Blair. According to the actor, the controversy was not over anger issues.

"One of our primary characters, Selma Blair, who played Kate, was written out because (the show) was not about our relationship, and the problem was too many people were still excited about the 'Two and a Half (Men)' character and thinking the 'Anger Management' character was a little dull," Sheen told Jay Leno.

"So, um, that is not the case anymore," he added. "She leaves, and I start circling the drain. It's really fun to watch and hella fun to play."

Blair exited the show last spring, midway through its second season. At the time it was reported that the decision was due to the fact that she didn't want to continue working with Sheen  and his poor work ethics.

It was recently announced that Laura Bell Bundy will join the comedy in the role of Sheen's new research partner. Stay tuned for the new season with Sheen joking called, "Anger Management 2.0."
