FOX has released a new promo for its upcoming 12th season of AMERICAN IDOL. The network urges viewers to "join judges Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Keith Urban and Randy Jackson, along with host Ryan Seacrest, when Season 12 of American Idol premieres this January. The new Season 12 promo features inspirational scenes of wannabe stars and clips of judges Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Keith Urban and Randy Jackson — as well as host Ryan Seacrest. The two-night premiere of the upcoming season will air Wednesday, January 16, and Thursday, January 17 (Fox, 8/7c).
